Founded in 2021, SLED is a group of dedicated students interested in providing academic, cultural, and personal support, as well as serve an advocacy role pertaining to drug use among youth.

- Creating safe spaces for youths to acknowledge and discuss drug use and relevant policies
- Engaging in active, evidence-based discussions on drug policies with relevant internal and external stakeholders
- Connecting youths with harm reduction and treatment services.
